Specialty icing
We are experts in the field of icing and de-icing in various mobility sectors with a focus on aviation applications. In particular, we investigate the accumulation of ice on various objects and its effects on subsequent operation. This includes experimental investigations in icing wind tunnels, their high-precision documentation using 3D scanning technologies, the associated evaluation and artificial replication using additive manufacturing technologies. The necessary technologies, software tools and processes are developed in-house.
With our patented, highly efficient chemical ice protection system D-IPS, we enable the safe flight of unmanned aerial vehicles (multicopters, VTOL, ...) even under critical weather conditions. Customized solutions ensure highly efficient operation.
